BETON & BIOTOP

Painting & Graphic Art by Arina Heinze

Arina Heinze’s work emerges from an engagement with urban landscapes and everyday city scenes. Her focus lies on seemingly inconspicuous places where nature and man-made structures intersect. What appears banal at first glance reveals, upon closer observation, a subtle and almost melancholic atmosphere. Her attention is directed toward walls, surfaces, and architectural details in the immediate environment, as well as spontaneous elements of wilderness that assert themselves within urban space. In her work, Arina Heinze seeks a symbiosis between nature and artificiality, between organic forms and urban architecture.
